If you are going to the SECC, it is a superb location as you do not have to go outside. It is a bit noisy at night, but the view from the 16th floor is something to see. Especially looking up the river. The extra facilities such as a pool were a bonus. They also have shops in the foyer. You can park your car overnight for £5, well worth it for Glasgow.

Top Tip:
There are numerous restaurants, all within walking distance of the SECC,the Rotunda chinese restaurant is very good value and the food is good, but you will have to book early if you want a pre-concert/thearte time. Plenty of sightseeing within walking distance. The shops are a subway/ bus or walk away.
