There is no way that this hotel deserves a four star rating. The rooms are small and basic, the public areas are dark and dingy. The hotel sells itself as being a boutique, the only thing boutique about the place is the god awful paper which continues on throughout the hotel. The continental breakfast was a joke. The view from our window was a vent stack. Suffice to say our visit to marks hotel was memorable for all the wrong reasons. And we will most certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone. plenty of good restaurants in the viciity of the hotel. Shopping district is approximately 5 minutes walk.

Third visit to this hotel this year and excellent each time. Would definitely use again and fully recommend it.

Excellent location for city centre shopping, plenty pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Although I didn't stay in the hotels booked I always ask the personnel that do and have rated it on the Good rating.

Its surrounded by good places to eat and drink - dont stay in the hotel (very expensive and under-trained staff).

Good convenient hotel - room was good size, and quality of cleanliness and furnishings was high. Staff were attentive, and breakfast choice was wide ranging and plentiful. Ideal for an overnight stay in a city centre location.
