The Millennium Hotel is housed in an imposing Victorian building, which overlooks George Square and was constructed for the Tobacco Lords. It actually used to be three separate residences, one of which was owned by William Burrell (of the famed Burrell Collection in Pollock Park). It has been extensively renovated, with the addition of a conservatory.

The lobby is large, airy and modern. The stylish and tastefully decorated spacious bedrooms combine classic features with modern amenities. In-room amenities include satellite TV, pay per view movies, trouser press, personal safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities. All guests at the Millennium Hotel Glasgow will enjoy a sumptuous nights sleep in their brand new tailor-made Hypnos beds.

Situated in the heart of the city centre with fantastic conservatory views of some of Glasgow's most elegant Victorian architecture, The Brasserie on George Square offers relaxed dining in uniquely impressive surroundings. The restaurant places a strong emphasis on locally produced food with an array of seafood dishes using seasonal produce and melt in the mouth Scottish Beef, specially selected and 35 day aged. The Brasserie offers conservatory seating and tables in the main restaurant and is attentively presided over by accommodating staff. The contemporary, yet relaxing décor and friendly, professional service offer the perfect venue for faultless food in tasteful, modern surroundings.

Georgics is a lively bar which is popular with both residents and locals alike. With conservatory views of the magnificent George Square combined with a buzzing pub style atmosphere, Georgics is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Georgics has a fantastic selection of cocktails and drinks on offer as well as light snacks starting from as little as £3.25.

A sophisticated area on the ground floor, the Millennium Lounge is ideal for a quiet drink anytime of the day. This fantastic meeting point located directly beside Queen Street Station offers designers coffees served with freshly made shortbread and as well as a fantastic selection of Champagne and cocktails.

Our stay was fine however, I think for a 4 star hotel it is looking very tired....             Lovely hotel overlooking George Square...             Food good...             excellent breakfast....             A real feel good place. ...             Hotel itself was excellent. ...             clean, good quality hotel...             hotel is shabby ...             could do with an overall refurbishment...              just what we wanted for a short stay...             Reception area and bar very nice...             , I would stay here again ...             could not have had a better experience...             Entrance lobby very grand but room was a bit dated ...             a very poor experience ...             I would not return to this hotel....
