The location of the Pond Hotel makes it doubly appealing. It overlooks the placid waters of the eponymous Bingham’s Pond, yet at the same time it is just off Great Western Road, offering easy access to Glasgow's west end and city centre. Inside, the public areas are chic and contemporary, while the rooms are clean and comfortable.
The Pond Hotel is housed in a 1970s-style, brownstone building, overlooking the expansive Bingham’s Pond, which, with its two artificial islands, provides an attractive feature. All the public areas, including the lobby, restaurant and bar have received a complete 'makeover' and are pleasantly appointed in a modern style. The 137 guestrooms feature more traditional décor, but this lends them a warm and welcoming feel. All are well equipped and decently maintained, as are the functional en suite bathrooms. The is a split-level restaurant offers an à la carte menu as well as a carvery and buffet.
